Photo/Video Sharing on the Fly

Photo/Video Sharing on the Fly

Last night, I attended the launch party for the Ceremony mobile app (iPhone and Android) at the Arcivr offices just off 12th Avenue South in Nashville. Ceremony is a photo/video sharing app for weddings (Don't stop reading now! This isn't just about weddings!). Create a code and give it to all your guests. They download the free app, enter the code, and start taking pictures or video. Everything shows up in everyone's app. Nobody has to sign up for an account to use it. It couldn't be simpler. After the event, download the hi-res version of the album to use however you see fit.

That's pretty nice and I would have been all over it 19 years ago when I got married. However, there is nothing about the app that is specific to weddings. It really is a fantastic live photo/video sharing app for any event and that is something I have been needing regularly since I got married. Any event where people are taking pictures ends with people claiming they will post their pictures somewhere, usually someplace I don't have an account or hate to use, and then they don't do it. Honestly, that's usually me not coming through on that claim. I have all the best intentions...

If you have children of any age, you will have run into this problem regularly and know what I'm talking about. If so, try this app for your class or sports team! It is free, but I'd recommend the $4.99 in-app purchase to be able to make up your own memorable code instead of random characters and the ability to download hi-res versions of the pictures. on Ceremony App
